Self-guided Walking and Biking ours are available on a 3 1/4 mile paved, level path (6 1/2 miles round-trip). These popular options for experiencing the park are offered daily throughout the season and include a trail map highlighting many of the scenic and historic features unique to Dogwood Canyon.

Walkers and bikers (and often trams) share the same trail and make their way along the floor of the canyon. Guests have the ability to enjoy the beauty of the property at their own pace and can turn around at any point they choose. We recommend that guests at least commit to seeing the Glory Hole, home to our rainbow trout and one of the most impressive sites on the tour (approximately 4 miles round trip).

Guests may bring their own bikes or choose to rent one of our comfortable, single-speed "cruisers" with old-fashioned coaster brakes. Bikes are first-come, first-served and available in a variety of sizes to fit most everyone. Kiddie-carts and trail-behind bikes are also offered. Baskets are available to carry cameras, drinks, snacks, etc. If desired, helmets are supplied at no additional cost.

Restrooms, picnic areas, beverage machines and fish-food dispensers are located in multiple locations throughout the park. A limited number of strollers are available for rent as well. Campfires and grills are not allowed, unless associated with a catered group event.
